Limited Editions of On Being Ill
Printed by Kat Ran Press presently of Cambridge, MA, and hand-bound by Claudia Cohen of Seattle, WA, these letterpress limited editions of Woolf's On Being Ill are our gift, a "thank you" for your generous donation. Only 100 limited editions were printed: 80 "regular" editions, and 20 "deluxe" editions.
When making your contribution, please tell us the design you would like by indicating the edition ID number listed below: D (deluxe) -01, D-02; R (regular) -01, R-02, etc. At this time, a select number of regular limited editions and deluxe editions are available. If the one you choose is not available, we will offer a close alternative.
"Regular" Limited Editions
The "regular" limited editions are available for contributions of $300 or more. They are bound with unique paste paper and include a white label with On Being Ill by Virginia Woolf, Introduction by Hermione Lee on the front cover, and a white label with On Being Ill by Virginia Woolf on the spine. Every book uses a different handmade paste paper. They are housed in a paper case. Twenty (of eighty) remain available. This contribution allows for a $150 tax deduction.
"Deluxe" Limited Editions
The "deluxe" limited editions are for contributions of $500 or more. They are bound with unique paste paper on boards, with a red or black leather label and gold type on the spine, and housed in a linen case. The end sheets of the "deluxe" editions include a second handmade paste paper. There are presently five "deluxe" editions available. This contribution allows for a $350 tax deduction.
An autographed "deluxe" limited edition is also available, for donations of $1,000 or more. These are printed and bound in the exact same manner as stated above, and are signed by Hermione Lee, binder Claudia Cohen, and a few are also signed by printer Michael Russem. There are presently four signed copies for you to choose from. This contribution allows for a $850 tax deduction.
